The Sports Division, in keeping with its mandate to develop sports around the island, particularly at the youth level, has donated sporting equipment to the Soufriere Primary School.
The donation, which included volleyballs, footballs, and tennis balls, was presented to the school at a brief ceremony on Friday, 11th September 2020 on the school’s compound by representatives of the Sports Division.
Sports Teacher, Marshall Gregoire, who received the items on behalf of the school, thanked the Sports Division for the timely gesture. He gave the assurance that the equipment would be put to good use and further stated that the items would assist in the sports program at the school.
The Sports Division has made similar donations to the school in the past.
