A total of six goals were scored last evening when the action continued in the 2021 Dominica Football Association (DFA) Division One League.
In the only match played at the Almond Park in Dublanc Connect 767 East Central FC and LA Starz FC played to a three-all draw.
Asa Laurent, Christley Kernizan, and Ricardo George scored one goal each for East Central FC. For LA Starz FC, Daniel Pendengue, Ryon Prosper, and Shem Abraham scored one each.
The action will continue this week.
Meanwhile, the senior men’s national team registered its first victory in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying competition.
In the 3rd match of the campaign, Dominica defeated Anguilla by three goals to nil. Briel Thomas, Julian Wade, and Chad Bertrand scored one goal each.
Dominica will play its final game of the qualifying campaign on Tuesday, 8th June 2021 against Barbados.
Dominica is now 3rd in Group E. Only the top team will qualify for the second round.
