Twenty three (23) centenarians in Dominica

To date, there are twenty three (23) centenarians in Dominica, with Elizabeth Augusite better known “Ma Willy” of Crayfish River and Anastasie Charles better known as “Ma Maggie” of Wesley being our eldest at 107. Our youngest centenarian is Ephelline Laville of Atkinson, who became 100 on 11th March, 2021. There are six (6) males and Seventeen (17) females. The centenarians are quite alert, some can still read, and keep a conversation.

Generally, the centenarians are not picky eaters. Although before they eat what they grew, most of them eat whatever is prepared.
