Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has announced the date for the by-election in the Grand Bay constituency left vacant after the death of Edward Registe on September 1, 2021.
In a press statement, Skerrit announced that Dr. Vince Henderson former member of parliament for the St. Joseph constituency and diplomate will be the candidate for the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) in the upcoming by-election.
Nomination Day will be November 9, 2021. He also stated that given the issue with COVID-19, campaigning will be done with that in mind. Attached full text of the address and audio.
