The speculation is over, Lennox Linton has been re-elected unopposed as the political leader of the United Workers Party (UWP) at the party’s delegates conference.
Senator Francesca Joseph was elected as the deputy political leader of the party.
A well-placed source told Nature Isle News (NIN) that Isaac Baptiste was also re-elected unopposed as President while Ezekiel Basil has succeeded Hector John as Vice President of the party.
Nicholas George retained his post as general secretary of the party while Senator Ernie Jno-Finn is the assistant general secretary. Alex Birmingham is treasurer and the deputy treasurer is Kent Joseph.
Glenroy “Soso” Cuffy is the PRO of the party with Dr. McDonald “TC” Thomas as International Secretary. Trustees are Edison James, Ronald Green and Norris Prevost.
