Greetings, All.

An urgent prayer request has been issued globally for the island of Haiti and our fellow brothers and sisters, as they are in the midst of a serious security crisis.

Bishop Ishmael Charles has asked that the following correspondence from Haiti’s Administrative Bishop be shared among our churches.

_Dear Bishop Charles,_

_I greet you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ._

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you under grave circumstances. Despite the challenges we face, I am compelled to express my gratitude for your unwavering support and solidarity with us in Haiti._

_I must inform you of the deteriorating security situation in our beloved country. Recently, two major prisons were compromised, leading to the escape of over 2000 inmates. This has unleashed numerous dangerous individuals onto our streets, exacerbating the already tense atmosphere._

Amidst this turmoil, I am devastated to report that our largest place of worship, the Rue du Centre Church of God, was viciously attacked by gang members. During this assault, individuals were harmed, a vehicle was stolen from the church premises, and the treasury department was thoroughly looted. Consequently, this sanctuary, alongside others, had no choice but to shut its doors last Sunday._

This series of events has plunged our community into even deeper despair and necessitates an urgent call for divine intervention and support. We implore the entire Caribbean region and the global Church of God community to fervently pray for Haiti and the Haitian Church of God._

Despite being engulfed by this storm; our faith remains steadfast. We trust that the Lord is omnipresent and will manifest His power and grace in these trying times._

We are counting on your prayers and support as we navigate through this unprecedented crisis. Your brotherhood in Christ is a beacon of hope for us._

Thank you for standing in solidarity with us._

_Blessings,_

_BISHOP JEAN LUBIN LIBERUS_

_Overseer and Administrative Bishop for Haiti_

Let us pray for protection, peace, a quick resolution, and for all those affected by this dangerous situation.

The Lord bless and keep you.
