Bath Estate and WE United ease to last four

Bath Estate FC and WE United FC will clash in the first semifinal encounter of the Dominica Football Association’s Recovery Knock Out Cup.

On Saturday at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth, Bath Estate FC cruised to the last four with a convincing win over Petro Caribe Pointe Michel. Bath Estate FC proved to be too much for their opponents as they recorded four goals to one triumph.

National player, Julian ‘Juju’ Wade took his tally of goals to four in just two games as he was one of four Bath Estate players to get their names on the score sheet. Aaron Nicholas, Anfernee Frederick, and Yhaddi Reid all scored one goal each.

Former national under 15 player Turraam Toussaint got the lone strike for Pointe Michel FC.

In the other scheduled encounter at the Almond Park in Dublanc, WE United FC secured their semifinal position when their opponents, Exodus FC failed to show up for the encounter.

Meanwhile, Middleham United FC continued to make its strong push to return to top-flight football. On Friday evening, in a Division One encounter, at the Almond Park, Middleham FC moved to the top of Group One after they trashed Busta Warner FC by eight goals to nil in a one-sided affair.

Ryan Matthew found the back of the net three times while Shane Cockrane and Jervan Matthew scored two goals each. Kimon Jno Baptiste also converted one goal.
