Former Premier Division champions Blue Water Bath Estate FC has inched one step closer to qualifying for the second round of the 2022 Dominica Football Association President’s Cup.
In their last preliminary round encounter against LA Starz FC on Wednesday evening at the Stockfarm Sports Complex, Kenico Soanes found the back of the net twice as his club recorded a three-goals to-one win after enjoying two goals to-nil advantage at the interval.
Denzel Lawrence scored the other goal. Ridge Blaize converted for LA Starz FC. Both clubs have now played the full quota of five goals in the group stage.
In the other encounter played on Wednesday, Central Cooperative Credit Union Dublanc LTD FC cruised to an easy win over Calibishie Diasporas FC at Benjamin Park. Shikel St. Marie scored two goals while there was one goal each for McCorney Royer, Savio Anselm, and Jervani Xavier. Kevin Green scored the lone goal for Calibishie Diasporas FC.
