Melissa Poponne Skerrit Celtic secured a comfortable victory over Double O Construction Portsmouth on Saturday at the hard courts of the Windsor Park Sports Stadium when the action continued in the 2021 Digicel Big Edge Financial Express Dominica Netball Association National Netball League.
Keisha Thomas scored 22 goals from 50 tries as Celtic won easily by a final score of 35 goals to nine. Thomas was aided by Samantha Hurtault with 13 goals from her 34 attempts.
For the Portsmouth based team, Stara Robinson netted all nine goals from 16 tries. Jade Powell of Celtic was adjudged as the player of the match.
Tia Watty of Celtic and Gemma Andre of Double O Construction were two other outstanding players in the contest
