Running from August 22 to August 25, 2024, the Kreyol Basketball Championship brought together six top-tier teams from across the Caribbean, marking a historic moment in regional sports. Championship Highlights:
• Opening Day – August 22, 2024: The championship kicked off with two intense matchups. The Wadadli Elite Stingerz secured their first win against the Dr. Darroux PSC Falcons 1 with a score of 75-63. Meanwhile, the D-Treads Blazers edged out the Soufriere Kings in a nail-biting finish, 69-68.
• Day Two – August 23, 2024: The Wadadli Elite Stingerz continued their winning streak, defeating the Paix Bouche Super Eagles 80-66. GGB from Guadeloupe also emerged victorious, winning against the Soufriere Kings 75-65.
• Day Three – August 24, 2024: D-Treads Blazers showcased their dominance with a 70-64 win over GGB, securing their place in the final.
• Final Day – August 25, 2024: The championship day began with the 3rd Place Game, where GGB defeated Dr. Darroux PSC Falcons 1 with a score of 88-80. The grand finale saw the Wadadli Elite Stingerz overpower the D-Treads Blazers with a decisive 88- 61 victory to claim the championship title.
