Middle Ham United FC has inched one step closer to gaining promotion to the Dominica Football Association’s (DFA) Premier Division League for the 2021 season.
The Cochrane based club which previously enjoyed a few years in the Premier Division before being relegated to Division One for the 2020 season has had a good run thus far.
On Thursday evening at the Almond Park in Dublanc, Middle Ham FC secured their spot in the last four with a comfortable victory over LA Enterprises Bombers FC.
Shane Cochrane was the standout player as he found the back of the net twice. He was ably assisted by Chris Weekes who converted one goal.
The win means that Middle Ham FC has now joined LA Stars FC of La Plaine and Harlem United in the last four. The last semi-final spot will be up for grabs on Saturday when the unbeaten East Central FC comes up against Belfast Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers FC at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth.
