WE United and South East share spoils

WE United FC and Sagicor South East FC enjoyed a share of the spoils on Thursday evening when the action continued in the 2020 DFA Division One League.

In a Group 2 encounter at the Almond Park in Dublanc, both clubs played to a two all draw.

Dale Dangleben opened the scoring for WE United FC when he converted in the 5th minute of play. Adriel Lawrence leveled the score 30 minutes later as both clubs went into the interval with one goal all.

In the 60th minute of play, Lyan Edwards gave his WE United FC the advantage as he scored the go-ahead goal. Coann Lockhart ensured that his club walked away with a point when he converted in the 69th minute of play.

On Wednesday evening at the same venue, Exodus FC and Middle Ham United FC played to a one-all draw. Derwin Eusebe scored for Middle Ham United in the 61st minute of play. When it appeared that Eusebe’s goal was enough to seal the victory for his club, veteran player Shern Daily found the equalizer in the 90th minute of play.

When the action continues on Friday evening, Denise Charles Pointe Michel FC will do battle against ACS Tarish United from 6 pm at the Almond Park in Dublanc in a Group One fixture. Also in Group 1, Harlem United will be at home to All Saints FC on Saturday from 4 pm.

In the last Premier Division encounter of the season, Exodus FC will take on LA Enterprises Bombers FC in a rescheduled match up from 4 pm at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth. The encounter is scheduled for Sunday. The results of that encounter will not alter the final points standings.
