Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A high-pressure system is expected to result in occasional cloudiness and a few showers across the Lesser Antilles during today. However, a weak trough is expected to produce scattered showers mainly across the southern portion of the island chain.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking to 7.0ft. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
