Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

Valid from: 6:00 AM on Friday, November 26, 2021

Weak unstable conditions due to the presence of a trough system are projected to produce cloudiness and scattered showers, mainly over the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, a sheer line (frontal trough) is expected to generate similar conditions across the northern portion of the island chain.

Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves to 7.0ft. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution for northerly swells along the north through eastern coastlines.

Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
