Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A high-pressure system is expected to be dominant across most of the Lesser Antilles, including Dominica, during the next 24 hours. A more stable and drier atmosphere is likely to limit significant showers over these islands during the period. Breezy conditions and slight haze will persist.
Meanwhile, a tropical wave is forecast to maintain some scattered showers over the extreme southern portion of the Lesser Antilles tonight, as it progresses westwards.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 48 hours, with waves peaking to 7.0ft, along the eastern coast.
