Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022
Moisture trailing a tropical wave will produce scattered showers across the area during the early morning. Drier and breezy conditions are expected afterward, as a high-pressure system becomes dominant. However, on Thursday, adequate moisture and instability could increase the chance of showers and thunderstorm activity over the island.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 8.0ft along the eastern coast. A Small Craft Advisory is now in effect. Small craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution.
