Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

Favourable upper-level conditions maintained by an upper-level trough and moisture from the equatorial region could generate periods of cloudiness with scattered showers and possible thunderstorms, mainly across the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, an area of low pressure in the Central Tropical Atlantic, which is being monitored for development, is unlikely to approach the island chain at this time.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking near 7.0ft along the eastern coast today, decreasing to 5.0ft tonight.
