Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A high-pressure system is dominant across the area generating occasionally breezy conditions. Patches of low-level clouds within the wind flow are expected to produce occasional cloudiness with a few showers during the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a tropical wave in the Central Atlantic is expected to mainly affect the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles from Wednesday night into Thursday.
A reduction in dust haze concentration is expected by Wednesday. People with respiratory sensitivities should continue to take the necessary precautions to avoid complications.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves down to 8.0ft along the eastern coastline. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for above normal seas along the east coast. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should continue to exercise caution.
