Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

A trough system is expected to affect the central and northern portions of the Lesser Antilles resulting in an increase in cloudiness with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms during the next 24 hours. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks are advised to be on alert.
From overnight Thursday, a tropical wave is expected to affect the area.
Dust haze is expected across the area in varying concentrations during the next few days. People with respiratory sensitivities should take the necessary precautions to minimize complications.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking to 7.0ft along the eastern coast.
