Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

Moisture and instability associated with a trough system are expected to maintain an increase in cloudiness with scattered showers and possible thunderstorms, mainly across the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles, during the morning.
During the overnight period, a tropical wave is expected to generate an increase in moisture levels over the islands. Unstable conditions are expected to linger across the southern portion of the island chain into Saturday.
Dust haze is expected across the area in varying concentrations during the next few days. People with respiratory sensitivities should take the necessary precautions to avoid complications.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking to 7.0ft along the eastern coast.
