Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles

Weak surface to low-level instability is expected to produce an increase in cloudiness and the chance of shower activity across the area during the next 24 hours. However, most of the significant shower activity can be expected mainly across the southern portion of the Lesser Antilles.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with swells peaking near 7.0ft, along the northern and eastern coastlines. A High Surf Advisory remains in effect. Small-craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
