A high-pressure system will remain the dominant feature across the area resulting in occasional cloudiness and a few brief showers. Meanwhile, weak instability is expected to maintain cloudiness and scattered showers mainly across the islands to the south of Dominica during the period.
A surface trough is expected to produce an increase in cloudiness and scattered showers across the island by Thursday.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 to 48 hours with waves peaking to 5.0ft.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
