Unstable conditions are expected to maintain occasional cloudiness and a few scattered showers across the area during the next 24 hours. The Flood Warning has been discontinued as of 6 am. Dust haze is expected across the area today. People with respiratory sensitivities are advised to take the necessary precautions.
Meanwhile, a tropical wave is projected to maintain unsettled conditions across the area from Tuesday, while a surface trough is expected on Wednesday. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides, and falling rocks should be on alert tomorrow and Wednesday.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with wave heights now expected to peak near 8.0ft. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect. Small craft operators and sea bathers on the east coast should continue to exercise caution.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
