A relative increase in moisture levels can be expected across the area during today resulting in occasional cloudiness, a few scattered showers, and a slight chance of isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Dust haze is expected to persist across the area during the week. People with respiratory sensitivities should take the necessary precautions to avoid complications.
Meanwhile, another tropical wave over the far eastern Tropical Atlantic, with a high chance of development, is being monitored.
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking near 7.0 feet. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
