Veteran Domino Club Swansea maintained its unbeaten record as the action continued in the 2022 Kubuli Beer and BB Rum Division One National Domino League.
Swansea, the Pottersville-based domino team kept their unbeaten record intact as they registered back-to-back wins. Swansea defeated Rebels by a final score of 2,509 points to 1,908 points scored by Rebels on Saturday. In their second encounter of the weekend, Swansea scored 2,500 points as they defeated Team Rayneau which scored 2,138 points.
Also picking up two wins last weekend were Giants, Riders, and White City while several other teams enjoyed mixed results.
White City defeated Peace and Love on Saturday as they scored 2,543 points to the 2,285 points scored by their opponents. In their second weekend encounter, White City got the better of Hit Back winning the match by 2,536 points to,2,247 points.
Giants also picked up the maximum two wins with victory over Fire Services on Saturday and over Morne Bruce Warriors on Sunday. In Saturday’s encounter, Giants scored 2,502 points to 1,767 scored by Fire Services. On Sunday, they easily brushed aside Morne Bruce Warriors winning that encounter handsomely. Final scores Giants 2,538 points, Morne Bruce Warriors 1,374 points.
Riders handed Morne Bruce Warriors their second defeat of the weekend with a winning score of 2,540 as opposed to 1,797 scored by Warriors. On Sunday, the Riders posted the second win of the weekend as they defeated Palm Boys by a final score of 2,520 points to 1,760 points.
