A staff of the Inland Revenue Division (IRD) has been arrested by the police and is assisting them in their investigations dealing with alleged fraudulent transactions at the IRD.
Nature Isle News (NIN) can confirm that the male individual was picked up by the police on Monday, September 19, 2022.
He was released by the police earlier today (September 22, 2022) but was rearrested and is presently in custody as police officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) continue investigations into the matter.
