Nature Isle News (NIN) can confirm that the General Manager of DOMLEC Bertillia McKenize has tendered her resignation to the Board of DOMLEC.
She made the official announcement to her staff this morning.

We wish to inform you that today, December 4th, 2023, Mrs. Bertilia McKenzie, tendered her resignation from the post of General Manager of DOMLEC effective, March 3rd, 2024.
Mrs. McKenzie served in that role for almost 10 years and has been with the company for 26 years. Throughout her tenure at the company and more particularly in her role as General Manager, she has made a sterling contribution to the company and indeed to the energy sector on the island.
Over these years, DOMLEC has benefitted significantly from her professionalism, acumen, and tenacity. She very ably steered the company through significant hurdles and challenges, at immense personal sacrifice. The Board of Directors is grateful for her many years of commitment and thank her for her excellent stewardship.
We note in particular her dedication to staff and their personal and professional development. On their behalf, we extend sincere thanks and appreciation to Mrs. McKenzie. We know they will always treasure her for her heart. Over the coming months, we will continue to work with Mrs. McKenzie to ensure a seamless transition in leadership and the continued delivery of professional service to the public.
