Police in Dominica say they are investigating a road traffic accident that occurred on the Grand Bay public road resulting in the death of one young man.
According to reports from the police, at about 12:30 on Sunday, August 13, 2023, a Mitsubishi Outlander Jeep collided with a scooter.
The rider of the scooter was Keyan Joseph who was transported to the Dominica China Friendship Hospital ICU ward but died later.
The police have confirmed that the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident is Mallick Skerrit the son of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.
