Job Summary
To plan, create and deliver a public relations program for Dominica Electricity Services Limited that will establish and maintain goodwill and understanding between the Company and its various stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or similar role.
- Experience in managing corporate social media accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of products and other social media management tools.
Required Experience
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience as a Public Relations Officer
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency of traditional, digital, and social media channels such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Experience with graphic design and video editing.
Special Abilities/Aptitudes/Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including press releases.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle crises with composure.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing
- Strong organisation and project management skills.
