A nine-member jury moments ago found Samron Thomas guilty of the murder of Damien Ernest of Kings Hill.
Marvin Marlon Albert of Grand Coulibrie had earlier pleaded guilty to the charge of murder and will be sentenced later. The prosecution opted for a trial for Thomas who they claimed acted as part of a “joint enterprise” in the murder.
Police reported that the body of Ernest was found at about 11 am on Saturday, June 27th, 2020 on the road close to Boeri Lake lying face down with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was taken to the Casualty Department of the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) where the body was pronounced dead.
