Nature Isle News (NIN) has received the sad news of the passing of Retired Justice of Appeal Her Ladyship Ola Mae Edwards.
Her Ladyship Justice Edwards is a Jamaican by birth but served in Dominica as a Magistrate and then as Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
She was then elevated to the Bench as a High Court Judge and subsequently to the Court of Appeal until her retirement.
After her retirement, she returned to Dominica where she made her home.
