The event which will take center stage this weekend promises to be a testament to the deep sense of patriotism, unity, and cultural heritage that bind the Nigerian community in Dominica together.

Nigeria’s Independence Day holds immense historical significance as it marks the day in 1960 when the country gained its independence from British colonial rule. It signifies the birth of a nation and the beginning of a journey towards self-determination, self-governance, and self-identity.
