Police seeking public’s help in death of Wesley residence

The police are seeking the assistance of the general public who may have any information touching the death of Neshawn Cooke of Wesley to please contact the nearest police station.  

According to police, he was last seen alive by a villager at about 7 am on September 9, 2021.

In a police bulletin issued by police public relations officer Inspector John Carbon, he stated that “On Friday, September 10, 2021, the seemingly lifeless body of 30-year-old Neshawn Cooke of Wesley was found in the new by bushes near the Wesley Primary School with severe head injuries.”

The body he said was examined at the scene by the district medical officer who pronounced it dead. Foul play is suspected.

The body was transported to the North Eastern Funeral Parlor pending a post mortem.
