Three days after suffering a stroke, Keriste Augustus, the General Secretary of the Waterfront & Allied Workers Union (WAWU) has died.
Reports reaching Nature Isle News (NIN) indicate that he was a patient at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Dominica China Friendship Hospital after suffering the stroke and was unresponsive.
He died on July 9, 2021. NIN extends condolences to his family and the union fraternity in Dominica. We will bring you more details in another news bulletin.
