Salisbury man on trial for alleged failure to pay Customs duty

A Salisbury man Kenvick Victor will go before a Judge and jury in a matter involving failure to pay customs duty.

The matter dates back to May 2020 when Victor is alleged to have failed to pay duty for a Smith and Western pistol.

He is charged with “possession of goods chargeable with duty” under the Customs Act and has pleaded “not guilty” to the charge.

Victor is represented by lawyer Wayne Norde and the matter is slated for hearing this week before Justice Colin Williams.
