Active COVID-19 cases in Dominica now at 179 and rising

Health authorities in Dominica are continuing to express concerns over the recent spike of COVID-19 cases. On Sunday, August 8, 2021, Health Minister Dr. Irvin McIntyre announced that the cases have now climbed to 179.

“The number of cases of COVID-19 in Dominica is 179. As the contact tracing and testing continues, we have significantly improved our testing capacity in order to contain the spread of the virus,” he said.
