Another homicide in domestic love affair

The community of Morne Prosper has been plunged into mourning over the brutal murder of Avonelle Charles. According to reports reaching Nature Isle News (NIN), Charles and her boyfriend were involved in a “domestic argument” when she was heard saying “you are hurting me.” “When I heard her saying that, I realized that something was wrong…they have always been involved in these domestic arguments and he (the boyfriend) keeps saying to her that he will kill her,” a neighbour told NIN. Charles is a market vendor and was preparing to go to the market to sell her produce. The incident happened just around 3 am and according to her driver, he had already loaded her produce on his vehicle and was waiting for her. Police are now in search of the boyfriend of the deceased as they continue investigations into the matter. This brings to 18 the number of homicides for the year 2022
