A weak high-pressure system is the dominant feature across the area resulting in a relatively dry atmosphere with a few afternoon showers. Meanwhile, a weak trough is expected to move through today, affecting the islands mainly to the south. Pockets of moisture are expected to produce a few cloudy spells with brief showers across Dominica mainly during the cooler morning and afternoon period.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with waves peaking to 5.0ft. An increase in northerly swells can be expected by Thursday.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
