A high-pressure system is expected to be dominant across the region during the next 24 hours resulting in relatively dry conditions. Low moisture within the wind flow will occasionally produce cloudy skies with brief showers during the period.Â
Moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours, with waves peaking at 7.0ft along the eastern coast today and increasing to 8.0ft tonight. A High Surf Advisory is in effect for possible swells along the north through the eastern coastline. Small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise caution.
