Weather Outlook for Dominica and the Lesser Antilles
Valid from: 6:00 AM on Thursday, May 5, 2022
A high-pressure system is expected to result in a relatively stable atmosphere across the area during the next 24 hours. Low-level moisture within the wind flow is likely to produce occasional cloudy conditions with brief showers mainly during the morning period.
An increase in instability is projected tomorrow, which is expected to support a slight increase in shower activity over Dominica.
Slight to moderate seas are anticipated during the next 24 hours with swells peaking near 7.0ft.
Please note that a greater degree of cloudiness, more frequent rainfall, and higher rainfall amounts are normally experienced across the east coast and interior of Dominica.
