Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has issued a statement on the ongoing saga where Dominica’s United Nations (UN) Ambassador Loreen Bannis-Roberts has signed on behalf of Dominica establishing diplomatic relations between Dominica and Syria.
Skerrit stated that after having discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senior Government officials and lawyers he immediately summoned a meeting with Bannis-Roberts at his office in person on March 17, 2022.
