Dublanc and Harlem score contrasting wins

Premier Division clubs Central Cooperative Credit Union Dublanc FC and Promex Harlem United recorded contrasting wins on Sunday when the action continued in the 2022 Dominica Football Association’s President Cup.

At the Stockfarm Complex, Dublanc FC had to dig deep to secure a come-from-behind win over ACS Pottersville Tarish United FC in a Group A encounter. Malique Bellot opened the scoring for Tarish United FC early in the first half of play. Just before the interval, Maconney Royer found the equalizer. In the second half, Travist Joseph scored the winner to give the former premier division champions a hard-fought two goals-to-one win.

Over at the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth, it was an easier task for Promex Harlem United as they easily brushed aside Wooty Blazers FC by seven goals to one in a Group D matchup. National players, Donan Jervier and Audel Laville scored two goals each. There was one goal apiece for Dijohn Hill, Jahleel Daniel, and Yetersin Xavier.

In other President’s cup results, LA Starz FC defeated Tranquility Beach Middleham United FC by two goals to nil while All Saints FC and Kensborough United played to a one-all draw.
