Harlem secures comfortable win

Senior national team player, Audel Laville netted one goal as Promex Harlem United condemned RIC Kensborough United to their second defeat in as many matches when the action continued in the Division One League of the Dominica Football Association (DFA) on Thursday evening at the Almond Park in Dublanc.

In the lone encounter of the evening, Harlem netted four second-half goals en route to securing a fouls goals to one victory over the Roseau based team.

After a goalless first half, Laville found the back of the net in the 55th minute of play. Five minutes later, it was two nil as Dylano Edwards converted.

Micah Rolle kept his club’s chances alive when he scored in the 65th minute.

However, the game was put out of reach of Kensborough with two late goals by Zion Emmanuel and Tyreke Jno Baptiste in the 81st and 85th minutes of play respectively.

The Division One action will continue this evening with RC Doctors FC taking on BAA Sharks FC from 6 pm at the Benjamin Park in a Group 2 match up.

On Saturday, in more Division One action, ACS Tarish United FC will take on Police Sports Club from 4 pm at the Newtown Savannah in a Group One fixture. Also on Saturday, in Group 2, WE United FC of Castle Bruce will be home to LA Stars FC from 4 pm.

In a Group One encounter on Sunday, All Saints FC will come up against Middleham United FC at the Newtown Savannah from 4 pm while at the Castle Bruce Playing Field East Central FC and Central Cooperative Credit Union LTD Dublanc FC will face each other in a Group 2 match up.

In the lone Premier Division matchup carded for this evening, former champions Central Cooperative Credit Union LTD Dublanc FC will look to bounce back from their two consecutive one-goal defeats when they take on Belfast Estate Mahuat Soca Strikers FC from 6 pm at the Almond Park in Dublanc.
