Middleham edge All Saints 

Tranquility Beach Middleham United FC has booked their spot in the quarter-finals of the 2022 Dominica Football Association (DFA) Patrick John Cup. In the lone round of 16 encounters contested on Thursday evening at the Stock Farm Sports Complex, the winners edged out All Saints FC. 

After 90 minutes of regulation time, in addition to 30 minutes of extra time, no club was able to break the deadlock. This meant that the score would be settled with kicks from the penalty spot 

In the one-goal all-draw, Clemson Isaac scored for Middleham United FC while the goal for All Saints FC was scored by Mohammed Albiatly. Middle United FC won by five goals to three on penalty kicks for six goals to four aggregate wins. 

With the win, Middleham United FC now joins Valvoline WE United FC in the last eight. Meanwhile, four other clubs will look to book their spot in the quarterfinals this evening when the action continues at two venues. At the Stockfarm Sports Complex, Petro Caribe Pointe Michel FC will take on Calibishie Diasporas FC from 6 pm. The second game of the evening will feature Portsmouth-based Glanvillia FC who will come up against the Central Cooperative Credit Union LTD Dublanc FC.
