Opposition Leader Lennox Linton writes Chief of Police re-nomination of Dr. Vince Henderson

Dominica’s leader of the opposition Lennox Linton has written to chief of Police Daniel Carbon complaining about what he claims may be the illegal nomination of the candidate for the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) Dr. Vince Henderson.

On Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, Henderson was nominated as the DLP candidate to contest November 25, 2021, By-Election made vacant by the death on September 1, 2021, of Edward Registe of the DLP.

However, reports are circulating that Henderson who holds the post of United Nations Ambassador in Washington DC for Dominica, did not resign before being nominated to contest the By-Election.

In the letter obtained by Nature Isle News (NIN) by the leader of the opposition to the Police Chief, he is asking for a criminal investigation into the matter.
