Two team to tie for coveted Domino title

After the dust settled on the quarterfinals and semifinals actions last weekend only two teams were left standing. As a result, the two teams have earned the right to vie for the coveted title. The championship match of the 2023 Digicel and Rayneau Construction national Domino League will be contested between Brigidy Stars of Paix Bouche and Allie Boys of Roseau. 

In the semifinal action of Sunday at Paix Bouche, Brigidy Stars made light work of Remix as they defeated their opponents by 598 points. The winners scored a total of 3019 points to Remix’s 2421 points.  Meanwhile, Allie Boys of Roseau easily brushed aside One Case in a one-sided encounter. Allie Boys scored 3045 points while One Case could only reach 1898 points. 

In the quarter-final action on Saturday at the Twilight Bar at the Woodbridge Bay Port, Brigidy Stars defeated Baghdad by a final score of 3017 points to 2254 points. Allie Boys got the better of Swansea. The winners scored 3010 points while Swansea scored 2457 points. In other quarterfinal action, Remix defeated Skills. Score in that encounter, Remix 3000 points, Skills 2441 points. Once Case defeated Sharks by a final score of 3030 points to 2420 points scored by Sharks. 

The grand finals and prize-giving ceremony will take place this Saturday at a venue to be announced.
