Three days after he swept the polls in the November 25, 2021, By-Election in the Grand Bay constituency, Dr. Vince Henderson took his oath in Parliament as the Parliamentary representative for the Grand Bay constituency.
In his first address to Parliament, Dr. Henderson who is no stranger to the Dominica Parliament having served as a government minister and parliamentary representative for St. Joseph thanked the people of Grand Bay for “welcoming him into their homes and giving him the full support to replace the late Edward Registe as the parliamentary representative.”
“I pledge to work with you all the way and to continue the work of my predecessors,” he said.
He also thanked Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit for his trust and confidence in him and also his Dominica Labour Party (DLP) colleagues for lending their support during the campaign.
“Only Labour can do it that way, I thank each and every one of you for your kind words and support,” Henderson stated.
