Dublanc maintains momentum

Former Premier Division champions Central Cooperative Credit Union LTD Dublanc FC put on another solid performance and extended their lead at the top of the points standings.

In one of three Premier Division matches contested over the weekend, Dublanc defeated Promex Harlem United by three goals to nil on Sunday at the Stock Farm Complex.

Johanson Bridet scored in the 44th minute to give his club that all-important lead heading into the interval. Felix Anselm and Travist Joseph added one goal each in the second half to seal the victory. Bridet was named as the player of the game.

On Saturday at the same venue, Valvoline WE United FC inflicted five goals to one victory over LA Enterprises Bombers FC. Shannon Stoute was the player in form as he scored a brace. Randell Coipel, Lennon Bannis, and Philson Lockhart scored one goal each for the winners.

Jamie Parillon scored the lone goal for Bombers. Kimiah Straun of Valvoline WE United FC was named as the player of the game.

The other scheduled encounter between Happi Bath Estate FC and Petro Caribe Pointe Michel FC scheduled for the Benjamin Park in Portsmouth on Saturday was postponed due to inclement weather which caused the playing field to be water logged.
