Football match ends prematurely

The Dominica Football Association (DFA) awaits the referee’s report following a Division One game on Thursday evening.

The match official was forced to bring a premature end to the Group 2 encounter between Exodus FC and Busta Warner FC which took place at the Almond Park in Dublanc.

At the time the encounter was blown off by the match referee in the 79th minute of play, Exodus enjoyed three goals to nil advantage. All three goals were scored by Nilsta George. His first goals came in the 9th via the penalty spot. The other goals came 55th and 76th minutes of play.

NIN has been reliably informed that the encounter was called off because of threatening language used by members of the Warner FC against the match officials.

The Dominica Football Association awaits the official referee’s report on the matter.
