ROSEAU, DOMINICA, AUGUST 2026-The search is finally over for a new men’s national football head coach for Dominica. Kurt Hurd, who held that position briefly in March for the CONCACAF series, is the successful candidate for the next two years.
Hurd, who previously held the post of FIFA talent scout, stated that after working with the Senior Men’s National team in March 2026, he was impressed with the “talent and work ethic” and decided to apply for the job.
He replaces Ellington Sabin, who held that post for a few years.
“I am excited to work with the boys. I believe in them, and they believe in me,” he said.
His first assignment will be the CONCACAF Nations Cup in September.
